Zephyr loves to look out the windows of our house in Baker City, OR and I have been thinking of NYC a lot lately, so I decided to combine the two.

Back in NY he didn't really look out the windows as far as I can remember, which I attribute to the fact that we lived on the 6th floor. There wasn't much for him to see out those windows except the other buildings in the distance.

The building in the background is a place where our friends Kate and Joe live. We used to have poker night with those guys. Hopefully, the Airstream restoration won't take to long and we can make a date for a night of Texas Hold Em.

Rainy NYC final...

While I was finishing this painting today, I thought to myself, that some people might think it's odd the guy walking the dog doesn't have an umbrella. Well, I decided that's because it's not raining any longer. Plus, I didn't want to add one.

I really enjoyed creating this piece and traveling back to NYC. It is this beautiful on a rainy evening.

The progress continues on "Puffy" the Airstream, but no pictures of her today.

This morning I ran a half marathon in the town of Imbler, about 50 miles or so from Baker City. Had iced coffee at Aggie's in Union on the way home and then took a nice nap.

The painting progress you see here was from Monday this past week, but I've been to busy to make the updates. Maybe this week will be different. We'll see.

The other thing that I've been doing with my spare time is working on our Airstream, replacing window gaskets. The hardest of all the windows Corrine and I finished tonight around 9 PM. Here's a picture of our beauty as the moon was starting to shine.

I sit in my back room studio getting ready to head down to Short Term Gallery, and it's raining outside here in Baker too.

The week we spent in PDX was great, but I did very little painting while there. The progress you see here is mostly from the work I did yesterday.

More to come from today's work if it's not to busy in the gallery.
