"I Spot Jake"

So, I'm back to working on canvas, and that's a good thing. Well, it's just a thing, neither good nor bad.
Jake is the dog of my friends Charlene and Michael, and he sit's outside the Baker Bistro on mornings when the gang meets for coffee. So the other day while on my way home from the food co-op I snapped the picture that this is based on.
I look forward to seeing the progress I make tomorrow. With all the curls in his hair and tones available to choose from, it will be interesting to see how I bring him to life.
